"The Escapades of Miss Annie Oak"

If you read "The Dissapearance" and liked it, here's another story for you. This one was authored by Gretchen (Glaser) Acheson. That's Will Glaser's (author of "The Dissapearance") sister. I've never met either of them... but I read Gretchen's website Enjoy!

I see what you mean Jak. At the risk of being "mean" that story was lousy. The only good line in it was:

"I accidentally dropped a copy of Webster's 1828 Dictionary on the heads of one kissing couple. They really needed to come up for air anyway."

That actually was funny, if anyone else knows how big and heavy 1828 is, and the whole needing air. Haha.

Her brother's story was so much better. Who is older? Maybe it's just an age thing. It kinda "sounds" like it might be.

Yeah, I like the other one better too. Gretchen is older, so there you go. Although, I have no idea how old they were when the stories were written, respectively.

Ah, when it was written might come into play. I didn't think of that. It just sounds like it was written by a young(er)person; like 14/15 even though she describes her lead as been just under thirty, or something. But that doesn't mean anything.
