Matchy- Matchy Cards Fans

   The boys and I were matching today.  We all wore Cardinals shirts.  :) 

Here's how it went:
ME: "Oh!  We're all matching!!!  Let's take a picture!"
LUKE: *Immediately adopts his current favorite pose for pictures which means he puts both thumbs up*
JOE: "Ok, here you go!" *picks me up and ignores all protests while I hang on for dear life*
SARAH BETH: *is the only person available to take the picture and proceeds to take 3 blurry pictures which you will see below*

ME: "NO!  No more goofy pictures!  Let's take a nice picture!  BOYS! NO!  The yellow pepper canNOT be in the picture!"

 ME: "Ok, now just smile nicely"
MOM: *wanders into the room and "helps" Sarah Beth take the picture.  Immediately the boys straighten up and smile nicely*

Sister Pictures

 First, me and Sarah Beth. We both look semi-hammy, but happy.  Right?

   Susie joined us.  We took many pictures.  All of which were variations on the theme above.  Basically, Susie and I sandwiching Sarah, smiling sweetly.  Sarah in the middle looking...  everywhere but at the camera.  

We finally gave up. 

Luke and Sarah B. Must Have Found the Wardrobe....

   Because it sure looks like they're in Narnia!

It's my birthday. I feel old.

This picture is 27 years old today.  Yes, we had color film back then.

VBS Camp 2008

We had an AWESOME week at VBS camp this past week.

Storms in the Midwest

We haven't had nearly the disasters some areas in the Midwest have experienced.

But, we have had some whopper thunderstorms.

Photoshoot

While we were working very hard, two crazy bridesmaids crashed the photoshoot. I don't know who they are.

And in other news...

I would hate to admit this but I'm not one of our babies' favorite people. I'm really not sure why... she likes me well enough, but usually prefers one of the other girls. And I usually have to plead to get hugs and kisses.

Saturday was a different story!! She gave me lots of love and big hugs!! When Lydia came over and asked Sarah B. to come to her, Sarah said "No, I'm with Becca, MY Becca"

*goofy grin*

Yeah, that made my year....

oh, and I chopped myself some bangs... Do they look ok?
