My mom has become an overnight celebrity in our little town. A friend who works at the newspaper asked mom to do her a favor and submit some recipes to help get their "recipe corner" column started. Mom agreed of course... Many issues later... mom's still the only one submitting recipes and all over town people stop her to say how yummy her recipes are...

Ha Hee hee LOL!!!! LOL!!! *wips tears from eyes* That's great! Who would of thunk it! Our Mom, famous. How is Mom holding up to all this attention? I always told her she was the best MOM in the WHOLE WORLD!!! Give her a kiss and hug from me!!!!
Wow, she's still the only one? I think the last time we were there, she'd submitted the only two recipes published so far.
I know!! People are recongnizing her and asking me if I'm Renee Sigwarth's daughter.
Well, Kristi, Dad had her submit the first two and then the paper called and offered for Mom to submit a recipe every time. They told her she would get a 'Column'. She said she would until some one else wanted to do it. Apparently no body does. Jane (newspaper lady) told her the other day that people were sending in recipes but were saying they didn't want them published. So why are they sending them in? Beats me :)
