I've been wanting to do another giveaway here for you guys, kind of a thank you for sticking around and continuing to read my ramblings.
SO, I had this idea. :)
I'm going to do a "Best of 2009" themed giveaway.
Here's how it works:
I'll be giving away three, THREE!!! prizes. Essentially, my FAVORITES from 2009.
Prize #1. Hands down the best book I read in 2009. :) C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity
Prize #2. My favorite CD from 2009. The one that played over and over and over in my car. Most played tracks on my iPod. :) JJ Heller's Pretty and the Plain.
So, here's what YOU do.
I want YOU to look back over the flowershopgirl blog 2009 entries. I want to know what post YOU think was the BEST of 2009. It can be any post. A book list, Dr, Jak, Crazy ramble, whatever.... Leave me a comment telling me which entry you thought was the BEST.

I'll leave this open for entries until midnight Friday, January 8th, 2010, and draw and post the names of the winners on Saturday, January 9th, 2010.
I'll draw the names out of a hat and the prizes will be awarded in order 1, 2, 3. You are only eligible to win one prize. If you enter twice and I draw your name for the 1st and 2nd prize than I'll re-draw for the 2nd prize.

I would have to say "Solving the Rubik's Cube, My Journey" was one my favorites. Keep it up!

I love your blog!!! Keep doing what you are doing - I especially like the fashion posts and pictures, but that is just me.
One of my favorite posts you did was called "On Aging" back in April. It was very introspective, very honest, and as always, make think and helped me get to know you better. Love ya! I'll do a shout out on my LJ!!!
well this is extremel random but I liked "*sigh*" from May. Just simply because it made me laugh the first time and it made me laugh when I stumbled across it, looking back. Besides th random-ness of that one, I probably enjoyed your book lists the most. A+ on those!

There are so many posts I really like! Scrolling through them, "Dr. Jak's Skin Care Tips" stood out because I remember you recommending lemon juice, and I tried that and love using it! So I'll pick that as my favorite post. :-)
Thanks for all the great posts this year. I love reading them. We are close in age, and even though I'm married now, I really identify with many of the "single" posts you share, because I had quite a few single years also! Thanks for being a blessing.
