"Woe be to him who reads but one book"

In my room

There are stacks
and stacks

and stacks....
...
... of books ... this isn't even a tenth of themAnd it's not even a hundredth of my wish list...

The man who doesn't read good books has no advantage over the man who can't read them.
Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)
I need some more bookshelves. And a bigger bedroom.

Ditto! I did realise you had so many books.

That look very familiar! I figure only about half of my books are actually on shelves, the rest are stuffed in my closet, and bottom dresser-drawer, stacked on my dresser and desk and everywhere else. Yes, a larger room is nessesary! :oD

That is terrific - remind me to ask you if our library doesn't have a particular book I'm looking for! :-) A good book makes for a very pleasant way to spend time!

So, are all the books yours, or do some belong to your family? I know my dad made sure to build his own personal library after college, and it has been a treasure to go and read through.

Same here! There are also stacks in the living room...kitchen...daughter's bedroom...and that just about covers every room in the house. As for the books that are packed away? That's a whole other story!
