This song makes me think of something I saw in an airport last month. A man in army fatigues, a little boy leaping into his arms. They held each other like there was no tomorrow. The soldiers uniform probably has wrinkles from the little boy's grip to this day...

OK, you need a disclaimer on this post: DO NOT WATCH UNLESS YOU HAVE SCADS OF TISSUE NEARBY. And a secondary disclaimer that wouldn't be a bad idea: If you're pregnant, seriously consider if it is the wisest choice to watch this right now.
Oh My!! I watched this last night..I almost started to cry (which is pretty emotional for me)when I realized the boy wasn't the one writing that last letter...ditto Serena
Ok, you have me curious. My computer doesn't seem to play videos very well so I haven't watched it. So why wouldn't I want to watch it, seeing I am pregnant?
because it's very emotional. Even people that aren't pregnant cry... :-)
Mark Schultz writes some good stuff, in my personal opinion. Letters From War was the first song of his I ever heard. It's powerful. (To say the least.)
I thought that that video was this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=_p45yQn816s cut and paste this URL and tell me what you think. What's kinda cool, is that this cowboy used to be a big time rockin' country star and I think that he had a conversion, of some sort, because now he sings about Jesus and supporting the troops Old Schultz sure does know how to play, don't he?
I've heard that song before, too. That's a good one.
my apologies to the pregnant ladies...
WOW Becca!
I've heard this song lots of times and it always makes me cry or at least tear up, but this video is almost too much! It was REALLY good, but beware it WILL make you cry!
