Question:

If you could take a trip through time would you?

If you did, would you go to the future?

I would take a trip, and I would not go forward. I would go back. Truly? I don't want to know my future. I want to find it, and be surprised. I want to be able to look back and say "Wow that was incredible, God. I can't believe it all turned out this way" I don't want to just sit twiddling my thumbs waiting for what I already knew was going to happen to me, come to pass.
Personal opinion! :)

I'd rather go back... Not only would it be awesome to see history, but I'm afraid of the unknown. 0_0

Yes, I'd time-travel, but no way would I want to go forward. Back, all the way!

I'd go back.... unless going forward meant going to Narnia :)

I wouldn't go forward - I don't want to know beforehand what is going to happen between now and then...

And really, I don't want to go back, either. Sure, there are questions that could be answered in going back, but I'm kinda happy where I am right now - looking forward to the future, and (mostly in retrospect) enjoying learning how to take every step as it comes.

I agree with Katie and the "if going forward meant going into Narnia:)" If I went back I would want to go back to the 50's and that era...but I would also like to go back to bible times like Moses or when Jesus was here, or in the time of King David, or Esther, Daniel, ahhhh so many!!

I'd go back to the 1860's and meet President Lincoln.

I was thinking about going forward, but came to the conclusion that God hasn't shown us what's in our future, except for what the Bible says, and He has a good reason for that. I think partly it's because we need to trust Him completely with the unknown; partly that if we knew what trials God is going to have us walk through to purify us, would we lose heart? I think of that Gaither song that says, "Because He lives, I can face tomorrow... all fear is gone, because I know He holds my future."

Hate to go against the flow, but I think going forward would be cool, I'd just go really really forward, like 200 years (assuming of course that this would be possible) maybe we'd be in the space age!

I'd rather go back though... I'd like to wear a hoop skirt and go to a ball:)

I have too many times I'd like to experience :)

So time TRAVELING would be more what I'd do with a space machine :)

I would definately go back in time, life being so different then! Either ancient Egyptian times or the 1800's or 1950- any of those would be great!
